Objectives:
1. At the end of this unit, students will be able to show understanding of the causes of World War I.
2. At the end of this unit, students will be able to elaborate in written form and speech as to how technology affected World War I.
3. At the end of this unit, students will be able to describe how WWI became a total war and explain the effect that years of warfare had on morale.
4. At the end of this unit, students will be able to experience and understand the difficulties of achieving peace at the conclusion of World War I.

Russia: Unit 7
Assignment: Create an interactive timeline of events in Russia ranging from Peter the Great through 1939. You are taking Russia all the way up to the start of World War II. Be sure to focus on key events in history. Your time line should include images and can include video and audio clips. Your time line must also include at the very least 15 events. Below is the rubric that will be used to grade the assignment. (One mistake on the rubric is how many events should be on the timeline, the break down is 15; 14-12; 11-6; fewer than 5.)
